Happy Birthday Tisha Ann

July 28- in past years I would have already made a call to my best friend- Metisha Welsh-to tell her happy birthday, and to remind her we were one year close to becoming golden girls.  Today, however, my heart hurts because I can't call her and she already is a golden girl- a golden angel.

I miss her so incredibly nuch- her jokes, her advice, her quick wit, her unselfish attitude about everything, her strength.  Mostly, I miss US, I miss she and I together- life is not as fun when she's not here.

I have been going through pictures and decided today to post some that show Tish and I during some fun moments, and also quite a few of Metisha and my oldest daughter, who I hope turns out just like her, and who I pray is blessed with a best friend just like her.

Happy birthday my golden girl- I love you.

Phil. 1:3- I thank God everytime I remember you.

Mornings at Our House...

Oh- morningtime!  I wish I could say that I get up at dawn, run five miles, do laundry, meditate, etc.  But, I can't! We roll out about 8 ( or sometimes later, if we are lucky), and perform the daily following routine...

First, and of greatest importance is the strawberry milk.  At about two, Laney started only drinking "pink milk," and now Haley has joined her.

PS:  Recently I noticed that everything I buy is Great Value brand, oh what would we do without Wal-Mart?

We also begin every day with PBS kids- love their cartoons- educational and not as annoying as so many others- and, of course, Sesame Street.

After Miss Laney is set-

Miss Haley hears the commotion and wants to join the day and after hearing all this...

he decides to join the fun too.   I LOVE going to this one's room in the mornings- he is so happy and laughing and playing.  And yes, this is a hand-me-down mobile from his sister, but he doesn't care!

When all three are up, they like to hang out and play...

talking with Phillip

Playing with mommy's stuff

Taking off diapers

While they are sommewhat occupied, I try to get the boring stuff done around the house.  It's funny because I remember that I used to always wonder what kept stay at home moms busy all day- now I know...

The laundry NEVER ends!!

It is definitely not the life I ever ever pictured for myself, but it is SO much better- I couldn't love my babies more- and moments like this make me forget about any other plans I ever had for myself....

Such sweet moments-

Why I Don't...Why I Should...

Blog that is.  I have stayed out of the blogging world because of these three.  However,  I am realizing that I should be blogging because of these three.  I don't scrapbook, photo album, baby book, etc.  The least I could do is type a little about this nutso life of ours.  Because someday these three might want to know....and I might want to remember.
